ARPA-H:Dash to Accelerate Health Outcomes
Motion/UIUX/Social Media | Herzog & Schindler/Polyplexus | 2023
To celebrate its one-year anniversary, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) partnered with Herzog & Schindler/Polyplexus to launch the ARPA-H Dash to Accelerate Health Outcomes—a nationwide bracket competition inviting health professionals to submit transformative, evidence-backed ideas. Out of hundreds of entries, 64 ideas were bracketed and narrowed down through public voting to four semifinalists and one winner.
I led design across motion, UI/UX, and social—directing and animating the promo video, editing instructional content, designing the submission and voting portal on Polyplexus, and creating social cards to highlight ideas and drive engagement.
The campaign generated powerful results:
4.36M brand impressions
117,231 page views
9,137 total votes
500+ idea submissions from all 50 states and the District of Columbia
From Identity to Impact
Over the course of 7 weeks, we developed the campaign’s wordmark, brand system, and a multi-channel promotional strategy, including social media assets, newsletter content, Google Ads, podcasts, videos, and motion graphics.
Final Report Design
Led the complete design of the ARPA-H Dash Final Report. This comprehensive piece translated complex campaign outcomes—such as participant behavior, bracket engagement, and social strategy—into an accessible, visually cohesive narrative. The report served as a final expression of the initiative, reinforcing ARPA-H’s mission and brand through thoughtful design and clear data storytelling.
